Guru Nanak College, Sukhchainana Sahib, Phagwara, District Kapurthala, Punjab (India) is nestled near the revered Sikh shrine, Gurudwara Sukhchainana Sahib, which was built in sacred memory of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, the sixth Sikh Guru. The vision to establish this esteemed institution was conceived in 1969, as a tribute to the 500th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. The college came into existence in 1970 and has since evolved into a beacon of knowledge and holistic education in the region.

The college boasts a modern and spacious campus, housing smart classrooms, well-equipped laboratories (including Computer, Accounting, Language, and Science Labs), a centrally air-conditioned and fully-stocked library, a Book Bank, Seminar Hall, Auditorium, and a multi-purpose soundproof hall. It also features the Guru Hargobind Sports Stadium, indoor sports courts, and state-of-the-art fitness and conditioning facilities.

With around 1300 students and 100 dedicated faculty members, the college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Commerce and Management, Humanities and Arts, Science, Computer Science, and IT Technology.

The institution has carved a niche in the field of sports, excelling in Football, Wrestling, Athletics, Boxing, Volleyball, Cricket, Tug of War, and Badminton, earning accolades at inter-college, inter-university, state, and national levels.
